Fly Rod Photo Shoot!

-After a little casting session at the pond with dad, a photo shoot was in order for the two newest editions to our quiver.

The photogenic rods and reels? A 10 foot 6wt L.L.Bean Double L. with the Double L mid-arbor reel, and a 9 foot 6wt Orvis ZG Helios with a Battenkill large-arbor reel.

    I’ve seen plenty of rod companies offering butts on a 6. even my 9’6″ Scott ARC has one. most of them are for light salt or salmon use.

      That would be sweet then. I had one on my 7wt Streamlight and I loved it

    I can’t believe that Double L doesn’t come with a fighting butt…

      It’s a 6wt man. The fighting butt is available on the 7, 8, and 9 wt.
      It would be an interesting option for a 6 though..
