Day 3 Magic !

October 14, 2009

I’m exhausted.

After two full fourteen hour days of scanning clear cuts and skidder trails, lucky number three was all we needed. Patience, persistence, and a seriously impressive guiding job by my father all came together for my first northern Maine bull moose. The numbers, intense story, and an absolutely insane amount of pictures will all be in my final recap of the hunt. For now I’ll leave you all with a teaser before I fall asleep at my keyboard. It doesn’t get much better than this!

My First Bull Moose, 900lb, 50inch long with a 43 Inch Beam. Nice Tall Rack!

My First Bull Moose, 900lb, 50inches wide with a 43 Inch Beam. Nice Tall Rack!

My guide (and father) and I with my Bull. Going to hang for the night, butcher, then off for a shoulder mount at the taxidermist!

Blah, time to get back to the real world! Ain’t Life Grand!
